150 K, musher had a headlamp, lead dogs with blinking red collars
we ended up at carl's to watch a few teams go thru....3 min. apart at start

the dogs had to be held till the signal to go...
dogs rarin' to go! 30 sleds, 10 dogs each, lots of howling and barking! Awesome!
opening ceremonies with honor guard; a man sang our nat'l anthem as well as canada's
hundreds of people waiting for the mushers; never saw this many peo. on 5th st.!!!
