I NEED MORE DEER PICS!'

I heard that Jack Haataja got a 12 pointer out of sedar bay, loping thru' his property...he aimed his bbgun thru the window, and POP, dead ringer.  the great white hunter!!

Oops, somebody called and gave me some more scoop.  Seems the bb just stunned the buck, the bb ricocheted off the deer horn, and came back and broke the window that jack was shooting out of.  So he hadda go to Ace hardware and get new glass!  Bummer!

At an outdoor cafe in Orlando, a man was playing steel drums....It amazed me that he could find the right place to play a note.  he used mallets, similar to those used on a xylophone.  the music was very pleasant to hear.  I had heard the drums a few years ago in our travels, but was so interested how they made the drums.  Below is the explanation:

Click on the explanation to make it larger.

3 of bob and lorraine's boys:  Bruce (gravedigger), Dave (teacher) and Brian (the oldest, retired)

Just got back from Orlando, Florida, there for a week with Margie, Brian, Gary Helminen (all 3 at business conference), and Verna & I took it easy and enjoyed fun in the sun.
Pictured here with my older sister Jane.

Meghan, Jane's gr/daughter who lives w. her, and Jane.
They came up from Viera to spend the day with us.

Digging thru old pics., here is our Vaari (Pete's dad)  who gathered the St. John's wort weed, cut it into small pieces, dried it, and made tea.  It's mild and pink.  Below are two more pics.
