I got something to tell ya. Did you ever find out why you choke on your food, or it "goes down the wrong pipe"? Well, this happens when you are either breathing or talking when you are trying to swallow. Your epiglottis doesn't know if it should cover your trachea or not. So then, your food ends up in the wrong pipe!
