EARL AND I ON OUR 75TH BIRTHDAY...FIRST ONE CELEBRATED TOGETHER SINCE WE WERE TEENIE-BOPPERS

BROTHER EARL AND COOKIE MAKING PASTIES....WHILE I WAS BARFING.  MUST HAVE GOTTEN SICK SO I WOULDN'T HAVE TO HELP. (???)  (JUST A FEW HR. FLU)

                                  UNO WAS THE OLDEST OF THE KANGAS FAMILY, LEFT HOME WHEN HE WAS 18; BECAME AN ARTIST AND SCULPTOR.  HAS STATUES IN MANY PLACES IN CALIFORNIA.\        (i AM IN PORTLAND, OREGON RIGHT NOW AFTER VISITING EARL AND COOKIE'S FRIEND...EARL IN SANTA CLARITA AND COOKIE'S FRIEND JANET IN SAN LUIS OBISPO....WE TOOK AMTRAK UP TO OREGON...WILL BE HOME ON FEB 5)

Ev went with Lori and two friends from Peace Corps. We stayed for a week, over New Year's. Some of the famous sites we saw include: the Astronomical clock, a church that is decorated inside with real human bones, the Prague castle, and the John Lennon Peace wall.

Dave leading the electricity game.  No, the kids are not praying, they are sending the electric signals by squeezing their hands...who ever gets to the end grabs the mitt that you see. Dave starts it from where he is sitting... Kids really like this game, they wanna play it every year. (If you want everybody to quiet down, this is the way to do it, takes concentration!)
